How Can I Begin?

To set up your Account:​

After you log in, click on "login bar".
Click Profile, then edit profile.
 

Step 1: Display name

​

• Enter a name you want your clients to see.

Step 2: Title

​

• In the Title field, write a title. Make sure that your title is detailed, and to the point. You want your buyers to recognize what you are offering immediately. Eg. (I am a Song Writer).

Step 3: Account

​​

• In the About field, write a brief title for the service you are offering. Describe the details of your offering in the area provided.

• In the Interest' field, enter your hobbies. Eg., Singing, Dancing, Reading, Cooking, Teaching, etc.

​

• In the Language field, enter the various languages you are fluent with.​

​

• In the Education field, enter your educational qualification (Waec, OND, HND, B.sc, etc).

​

• In the Skills field, enter the skills you've obtained (minimum 2) this will help buyers know what they are getting from you. when entering, use the comma sign(,)..

​

• In the Experience field, enter the experiences you've obtained over the years. (Minimum 2) this will help buyers know what they are getting from you. when entering, use the comma sign(,)..

• In the Service Rate field, enter a price for your service (ranging from ₦9,000, up to the maximum price for your service).​

​

• In the Introduction field, enter your youtube link. This will direct clients to a video which will further explain the service you offer.

Step 3: Account Settings

​

• Community Page URL: Edit your URL as it suits you. 

​

• Profile Visibility: Chose if you want to hide your profile page and social aspects of your account. Click the "Make Profile Private" Button and confirm to make your profile private. This means your profile won't be visible to other members, you can't comment or like posts and you can't follow members. Also, you'll leave the groups you've joined.

• Blocked Members: This field displays all blocked members across the Cheepla platform. When you block a member, it shows here.

STEP 4: Create Ad

In the Create Ad page, add images. Upload up to three photos that describe or relate to your Gig. The photos can be samples of your skill. Each image should be in JPEG, PNG, GIF, or BMP format, and up to 50 MB. The Gig must have at least one image uploaded to be published. The image should be owned by you. Do not use copyrighted images or images downloaded from the internet or your Gig won't be approved. You can also chose to add videos/Audio to your portfolio.

Supported formats are mp3, mp4 and MPEG. Make sure your audio is no longer than 3:30 minutes, and that it is less than 10 MB for audio and less than 50 MB for video..

STEP 6: Publish

Publishing and Promoting Your Gig

Note: If you can't find your Gig on the marketplace, it is because it is undergoing a review, and will take up to 48hrs before it is displayed.
